If you are in the European Union or another region with similar data protection rights, this page explains what you can request from MatchaNest and how we are expected to respond.

You can contact MatchaNest in any of these ways:

Response timing

We aim to respond without undue delay and generally within one month of receiving a valid request. If the request is complex or numerous, this period may be extended where allowed by law.

If we need more time or need to verify your identity, we should explain that clearly to you.

Legal bases we may rely on

  • Performance of a contract, such as running your account and app features
  • Legitimate interests, such as fraud prevention, moderation, and platform safety
  • Legal obligations, where retention or disclosure is required by law
  • Consent, where specific optional processing depends on permission or agreement

Identity verification and limits

Before we fulfill certain requests, especially deletion or data export, we may need to verify that the request comes from the correct account holder.

Some data may need to be retained for legal compliance, abuse prevention, fraud investigations, or dispute resolution.
